At the Timboon September 2015 Focus Farm field day attendees were provided with a farm business performance update after 12 months of operation as a Focus Farm. As well as the DairyBase business update participants were able to view and discuss specific business activities including:

The current calving management system
The Focus Farmers and the Support Group members provided information about Focus Farm operation and the role of the Support Group in business decision making.

Comments:
Started feeding silage 30 October. 160 cows currently dried off to begin calving 4 January. Approximately another 300 to be dried off over the next two months. 15 ha irrigated turnips now germinated. 18 ha dry land sorghum planted at the out paddock. All silage now finished, 4,000 rolls conserved.
